ABOUT ME
I have been tattooing for over 30 years, which is nearly my entire life.
I have worked in many shops around the country and even owned my own shop for 15 years in Oneonta NY called Golden Lotus Tattoo. In 2019 I closed the shop to travel.
THE WORK
What I really love about tattooing is two people coming together to make something great happen. I love getting to know people. Sometimes we laugh, sometimes it is like a therapy session and sometimes I wish we had recorded the session because it would have made a great podcast.
The main focus of my work is Traditional Japanese also known as Irezumi or Horimono. I love this style so much because aside from how beautiful it is, it just makes sense from a technical perspective. It has the ability to express power or graceful gentle beauty. It flows with the body and is designed in a way that can always be added to without clashing or competing for space and will retain its look for many years to come.
